Run your own girl-led city! This is a live, virtual series that will run from January 26-February 9. The council will meet every Sunday at 5pm Eastern for one hour.
As one of the first events ever held by Moneyville, this workshop series is a historical part of our foundation! Throughout this event’s three meetings, Ms. Chrissy will guide participants through learning to manage Moneyville–their own girl-led city. Participants will serve on the town council and learn how to use the city’s money to ensure that the town continues to run successfully. This event will allow participants to understand the importance of fiscal responsibility and the role that money plays in the broader world.
Junior Girl Scouts can earn the Democracy, Digital Leadership, and the My Money Plan badges. Cadette Girl Scouts can earn the Democracy, Digital Leadership, and My Money Habits badges. All Girl Scouts will earn the Moneyville patch.
