VIRTUAL COURSE - BROWNIES CAN EARN: DIGITAL LEADERSHIP
It is crucial for young people to use the internet safely to protect themselves from online threats such as cyberbullying, identity theft, and inappropriate content. Safe internet practices help ensure that they can enjoy the benefits of the digital world while maintaining their privacy and security.
By completing this course, participants will learn about the opportunities provided by online communities. Participants will learn how to use technology for good and also learn how to safely interact online.
During this self-paced, digital course, follow along with VicTreeFi’s founder, Chrissy, as she discusses the online world. Expect to complete fun projects and submit them to the VicTreeFi team for review. Participants will create their own avatar.
This course will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. If you need to pause the course at any time, your progress will be saved and you can resume at any time.
Brownie Girl Scouts can use this course to earn the Digital Leadership badge.
