DIGITAL COURSE - CADETTES CAN EARN: DEMOCRACY
Learning about the US government and democracy is crucial for young people as it empowers them to become informed, active participants in their community and society.
During this self-paced, digital course, participants learn about local, state, and national government. Learners will complete art projects related to the branches of government, state capitals, and local government issues. Participants will craft letters to a local representative highlighting an issue within their community. Learners will submit projects within the course and receive feedback from the VicTreeFi team. Expect to utilize videos, fillable forms, markers, and paper during this course.
Cadette Girl Scouts can use this course to complete the steps related to the Democracy badge.
