Furry Friends Workshop (Oct. 20th)

Description

*Due to overwhelming interest in our September 29th event, we have opened up another event! Join us in October!

🗓️ DATE/TIME: October 20, 2024 | 6:30pm EST

📍 LOCATION: Zoom (live, virtual)

🎖️ COMPATIBLE BADGES: Junior Animal Habitats & Cadette Animal Helpers

It is important for young people to know how to take care of animals because it fosters empathy, responsibility, and compassion, helping them develop a nurturing attitude and understanding of the needs of others.

Animal lovers (and their furry friends) are invited to join us on Zoom for this badge event! Girl Scouts and their pets will explore the connection between humans and animals. The group will learn about animal habits and how animals help people! Learners will also be asked to show off their best pet tricks! Animal lovers without pets are also welcome to join the fun!

This workshop will last approximately one hour and will complete all required badge steps. Badges must be purchased separately, but each participant will be mailed a Moneyville patch.

Junior Girl Scouts can earn the Animal Habitats badge and Cadette Girl Scouts can earn the Animal Helpers badge.

This workshop will be held live using Zoom. Following registration, Girl Scouts will receive a link to access the live workshop.
