Girls on Stage Workshop (Dec. 11)
Description
🗓️ DATE/TIME: December 11, 2024 | 5pm EST
📍 LOCATION: Zoom (live, virtual)
🎖️ COMPATIBLE BADGES: Junior Playing the Past & Cadette Screenwriter
It is important for young people to be creative because creativity enhances problem-solving skills, enabling them to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to various challenges they encounter in life.
During this event, participants will put their acting and creative skills to work to become a historical figure. Before the workshop, girls will be asked to research a famous person who made an impact in the past. During the workshop, participants will be challenged to race to create a costume to represent that famous person. Participants will also practice writing and acting like the figure.
By completing this workshop, Junior Girl Scouts can earn the Playing the Past badge and Cadette Girl Scouts can earn the Screenwriter badge. The badge is not included with purchase; however, every participant will receive a Moneyville patch.
